Ebbie wants to play a game! But he doesn't really understand how any games work. We've managed to teach him the basics of tag, but he only retains this information for the first few minutes of the game, then he just sort of dances around.

Arden insists that she is a river dragon. We're not convinced that such things exist, but it doesn't seem polite to argue with her.

Boyce is a very sensible Beastlie. For a Beastlie, I mean... In other words, he's not ridiculous enough run in circles yipping, but he is ridiculous enough to try to drag a stick of butter under the couch for safe keeping. Sensibility is relative with Beastlies.

Hillard is a stout-hearted Beastlie. Or maybe he's just a little stout all around. But in any case, you couldn't ask for a more fiercely loyal pal. He's maybe just a little too eager to get into fights to defend his friends' honor, though. Especially since he's not especially limber. Or quick. Or strong.

Renald is terribly frightened of humming. He can't understand how you're making that noise without opening your mouth. And that which he does not understand, he fears.

Gossel is very stubborn little guy. He's determined to do what he wants to do, and that usually involves obtaining some sort of meat snack. He's a fiend for little bits of lunch meat or sausage (as long as it's not the spicy kind), and he'll act like a total pill until he gets them.

Basey is a very organized little thing. He likes to collect small bits of trash, but he always keeps them in neat little piles arranged by color and size.
